Supplemental Life Insurance Change

Cooper University Health Care has selected New York Life as our Life and Disability Carrier effective January 1, 2023. This change will allow you to buy Supplemental Life coverage without having to provide Evidence of Insurability (EOI) up to higher amounts.

Voluntary Benefits

When it comes to benefits, there is not a "one size fits all" plan. That's why Cooper offers employees the opportunity to supplement their traditional insurance with voluntary benefit programs that can help meet their individual needs and budget.

FSA Updates

The Health Care FSA annual maximum plan contribution limit will increase from $2,850 to $3,050 for the new plan year. The Commuter FSA maximum limit will increase from $280 to $300 per month.

Medical & RX Plan Tier Changes

Cooper is adding an Employee + Child coverage tier to make payroll costs more equitable for team members that only cover one child under a Cooper University Health Care Medical Plan.

Dental Plan
Enhancements

Cooper University Health Care is enhancing the Preferred PPO and Buy-Up PPO plans.

  • Preferred PPO Annual Maximum is increasing to $1,500 Per Person

  • Buy-Up PPO Annual Maximum is increasing to $2,000 Per Person

Vision Plan

Cooper University Health Care is enhancing the EyeMed Vision plan if you use a EyeMed PLUS Provider:

  • $0 Exam copay

  • $50 Extra cash to spend on frames
